What a beautiful wedding and a beautiful couple. Let’s talk about them, they met going into their senior year of high school with Trevor’s cousin to thank for introducing them. Originally, she didn’t want to talk to him but he was a bit persistent. They started dating 11 yrs ago on his parents anniversary, and they talked or saw each other every single day up to their wedding day, they got engaged on March 28th of last year and the rest is history. Usually before the wedding I’m only shooting the girls but I had a chance to shoot the guys also in this one and Trevor said something in the room with the fellas that was true but also made me laugh later during the reception. The guys were making fun of him for getting married talking about its all over now and he said when you have someone that truly has your back , truly loves you and you truly love then it’s right and you know it and I agree. Then we get to the reception and every last one of those guys making fun was with their woman all hugged up and cuddly as if their day isn’t around the corner, take notes fellas.
This is one of the most exciting weddings I have ever done and two of the most personable and beautiful people I have ever met. Although I barely knew them i could tell this was a couple that was destined to be together. They were so in sync together that i really enjoyed being with them for the day, I wish it could have went longer. This was a full day fun shoot all around NYC, we went from the Grand Central Station to Central Park to the Brooklyn Bridge and although it was 90 some degrees outside we had a lot of fun. I want to say thanks for letting me capture that special day and all the special moments.
Congratulations to Cornell and Valerie, what a beautiful couple and what a beautiful wedding. The day started early and you feel the excitement in the air. I think this was the first wedding I did where I actually knew so many people before the wedding. From the wedding to the reception you could see the love cause this was a real friends and family wedding.
